The principle of screen printing is simple. Screens are made by coating a polyester mesh with a photo-sensitive emulsion. The screen and artwork are sandwiched and exposed to light. Areas exposed to the light form a membrane; the other areas can be washed out creating a stencil. Color in the form of ink is applied to a surface (paper or plastic, metal, textile etc.) through the screen.
Key advantages:
- Wide range of colors and finishes
- Flexible ink applications
- Printing on a variety of materials
